Maryanne's Haiku

we were prepping our plants in the office for a 3 day weekend, and i found a brown leaf. It prompted a moment of creativity for Miss Maryanne, and she produced the following dramatic haiku:

I found a brown leaf
It was a very dead leaf
I threw it away

Hee Hee Hee Rebecca...

I heard Haiku and thought limmerick...and the only limmericks I have ever heard started with things like...'there once was a man from Nantucket...'.

You know, come to think of it, is that even a real limmerick? I have never heard anything beyond the first line.

I guess what I was saying is that NOW I know you were giving an example of Haiku, but first I thought...a LIMMERICK? Rebecca is doing a LIMMERICK? Where is the rest of it?

Alison

p.s. Haiku poetry is ever so more creative than Limmericks.

I just wanted to stop by everyone’s sites and quickly tell them that we’re shutting down Scooter’s Super Baby site for personal security reasons. If you’re interested in our e-mail address or in further explanation of our site closure, please stop by! We’ll miss everyone very much, and hope to keep in some form of contact with whom we’ve become such good friends. xoxoxo

Loved the limmerick...very clever. Never kiss and tell though!!

Now, I am going private for a while in my blog, so just let me know if you can't get through and I will let you in on the secret handshake. I think all you have to do is come by and click on the box that says request access. Not sure though. If it doesn't work, If you still have my e-mail, send along a note.

Take care!

Alison
